Looking very nice Rich. Coming along nicely!
I was wondering, what clutch are you using in your car at the moment? Sorry if this has been asked already, but could remember if it has!

Im using a standard clutch cover with Helix organic plate.

You can use a standard Pug clutch if you want, it will be fine. I used one until very recently, even on track it coped.

Yes, i'm afraid all the kits are now gone.

Depending on the success and feedback of this batch, more will be made next Spring.

We now have the full support of Rotrex Superchargers for the conversion, and the car has had some excellent reviews and feedback, both from magazines and just people that have been in the car/driven the car.

There's no reason why marketing the conversion shouldn't be a success; were in the process of developing a website to help this.

The only downside is the vendor of the kits Lynx Garage/Lynx Power Engineering is now undergoing VAT registration, so future kit prices will be subject to VAT.

The price will also be reviewed dependant on the final cost of this batch; we will endeavour to keep the price as low as possible, however a few items are coming back substantially higher than our initial budget estimate. Hopefully some items will come back cheaper than expected so price will remain virtually the same.

We also intend to build our relationship with Rotrex be able to provide the chargers cheaper than anyone else too.

The same can be said for our relationship with Chip Wizzards; we also would like to work with Wayne and offer engine managment solutions for generic supercharger conversions at very good prices.

Fair play, glad its gone well for you and no doubt all others involved!

would love to do this but cost is too high for me at the moment..

so future production would be great as i plan to keep the car as long as possible..

does anybody think it would be a good idea if all the people who bought this kit try and get a group buy on the charger itself?? should be a fair bit cheaper with 15+ orders Smile

I am well up for a group buy on the chargers, although might need some time to find the the funds.

I ordered one of those intercoolers and works out at $269 delievered.

looks well good, i got my engine out band gonna strip it this weekend and get all the bits ready to go to all the differnet places.

I am getting my head redone for 80quid, which i thought was a bargian

Crackin' progress Rich. Cool

I've just found out that I can get FORGE intercoolers at discount price via a friend.

Just wondering if any of you lot would be interested in trying to get a group buy on the TYPE 05 intercooler.

They're £222 inc' VAT, I'll be getting mine for £200ish. If I could get 4 or 5+ together, I can probably get them a bit cheaper.
You know you're getting a quality product with Forge.
Any interest in this, before I order mine?

Contact me via PM to prevent spamming Rich's thread. Wink

Zac
