Only 1 kit left now Shock

Will hopefully have some more photo's up this week.

Expecting some more machined bits for the manifolds this week, and the SC and PAS brackets should of been welded by Tuesday Cool

Yes, like me, you could run a different size pulley on the road to limit it to about 200 odd BHP, to keep insurance sensible Whistle

There's plenty of companies out there who will insure you, target the ones that advertise for modified cars, Adrian FLux, Greenlight etc etc

Another update guys..

Got the air-filters from K&N today.

This is the breather filter for use on the ICV:

The photo's below show the ICV its its new location - mounted on the inlet manifold plenum. The ICV will sit on a little mounting plate. This isn't shown as they haven't been made yet.

Here are some pics of the main filter that goes onto the Throttle Body. I've gone for a round straight filter rather than a cone because space isn't a problem, and they have a larger surface area for better flow. This is because the diameter doesn't taper down.

I want to get the engine running good while it is N/A. Make sure all the electrics are working correctly etc, before the S/C goes onHappy

Will probably then do a bottom end rebuild to make sure that it is all OK

These are coming on very nicely now..

Cylinder head flange; the hardest part to design and machine!

New ICV mounting point:

New throttle cable support arm:

Assembled manifold (sellotaped together Laugh)

SC and PAS brackets, now welded and zinc passivated:

Boost control rings; each ring has the I.D. laser etched onto it for easy identification. This is my master set, 41 in total, in 0.5mm increments, ready for when the first low-boost conversion goes on the dyno for mapping.

Front panel air-scoops, laser cut, awaiting folding:

Hi mate,

Charger outlet is 51mm, inlet manifold inlet is 76mm.

So a reducer will be needed somewhere.

The reason I don't make the manifold with a 51mm inlet is because I want to slow the air velocity as it enters the plenum. This helps balance airflow more evenly across the cylinders.

Cool

Would powder coat them, but had so many problems with mine decided not to.

Problem is powder coat softens when it gets hot. The bracket then works its way loose, as it starts to move. The next thing you know the bolts shear.

Im talking from first hand experience!

Dry
