1st dibs on the block is pete as he had messaged me before anyone else but i will look into times that people inquired about it and workout the pecking order from there. BUT if the engine is found to be ok, i will probably sell the engine and head unsplit as it seems a silly to waste a 6k old rich w headgasket I only split them in the sale incase anyone needed a good head IF my bottom end had gone. I must have deleted that bit while writing the thread. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

Also can you confirm the rods and pistons with pictures. as iv just looked through your thread and there isn't any. also compression ratio please Rob the pistons are wossner and the rods and max speeding i believe. I take it it's just a standard Nissen's rad? Will see how money goes, but definitely will take the black masks ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I'd only have to buy a new gasket and head bolts anyway tbh so silly not to have the whole lump.straight swap out then too. ________________________________________ Black power baby! Ok so........It was not the engine at fault it was me. In my rush to get the box fitted to the lump and back in the car, i forgot to lock tight the flywheel bolts. ( I know, i know) They were torqued up but thats not enough apparently So the engine is good, box is good etc. No damage has been done accept to my pride Pete armz6 has 1st dibs on the engine. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

I'm after the Bilsteins. Would you ship to Germany? What is exactly rusty on them? The struts or springs, top mounts? Are they complete with the plastic tube on the ends of the spring? Matching rear dampers means the B6s on the back and B8s on the front, I guess? Thanks Michael |
