The owners of Combe saw how busy it was & how much they were making so they put the day rent up a little to share the Pie abit ....they said no way & moved venue but the local main guy was asked by Combe to run one for them Thumbs up

It's Combes busiest day by a long long way & loads of people are going to both ..winner winner ....

Alloy plate made & siliconed onto the drivers side of the body & radiator.... so it vibrates & flexes a little with the radiator big thanks to Prism7guy for the idea ...just smaller passenger side to sort tomorrow ..
Nice angled Wind director LOL

So I'm hoping this gets to the bottom of it

Well I've got it & its 1.3kgs in weight & stiff as hell with a little fibreglass natural flex LOL
It looks much better than the picture shows ...PS it was washed of because of dust in his workshop not had time to wipe it over yet Thumbs up
The black dash is the top pic & green is the mould I now have & own ...it wasn't cheap to get made & was crazy money really ...but hay ho ....

Also I got lots of extras fitted it has stop ends so you can't see behind on the ends & all sides & bottom curve under so yet again you can't see behind because Lower Glove box not copied ....also keep heater vents out & windscreen vents as if you want them you can fit them ...plus centre mid & upper glove box keep solid again if you don't want it remove it with a Dremel drill
Also it fits inside of door bars and the return stop ends make it look professional ...just got to tidy up edges & trial fit again Whistle

Crazy money ..id rather not say Due to embarrassing myself LOL ...but it's one off & I own the Mould ...should be able to get them made by someone else for £300-£350 I recon now ...it's the mould that costs ...
Wil Declaudios guys offered......He makes his 106 ones they are £300

I've just had a local chap PM from 306oc...saying his m8 makes Kelvar / Carbon Mini parts inc dashes ....he lives by Bristol Airport & he's told him about the dash & said he could cut me a deal & make me a thinner one which will be lighter in Kevlar / Carbon mix ...could even have it Laquered Matt ..
Some I'm going to get some prices ...

Would you spend just under £1000 m8 LOL

I've got no extra power so every bit of weights going to help 169kgs lost that's NOT including my cage ....so I'm hoping quite a bit under 1000kg now ...maybe I'm wrong but I've made a list of what's come off & gone on ....and saved weight everywhere I safely can with out drilling holes or cutting door panel in nets out Whistle
So

You should be well under 1000kg, I'm at 955kg and we've got fairly similar spec. I've done some other bits like remove PAS and re-do the wiring but that isn't a huge saving, maybe 10kg combined. I've got that fibreglass boot to fit but if I do that I have to put ballast back in to stay in the same class so not much point!

I didn't want to go too crazy and compromise safety. There's a high chance I'll crash and would rather the car / I survive than take another 5kg out
