Set my new TPS on the laptop which was from Jenvey ...
Car started & ran on the axle stands brilliant for 45mins no leaks or issues ....

Hopefully last pieces of my car jigsaw puzzle sorted ?

I've delivered my spare DASH which I have cut about around my Rollcage .... to a couple of chaps in Magor /Wales who make complete- Paris Dakar type 4X4s & body kits

They promised I will have it back ready to flock in 10days ...3Gan on here's going to flock my stuff again ....amazing quality & price Thumbs up
They have to make a mould but it has no heater vents as mine has no heater & the only thing I left in was the upper glovebox / airbag area which will be clip on not open as usual.....

Super lightweight....
Plus they need something I have ...so winner winner ....as I'm skint now LOL

Got my twin skin Fibreglass tailgate coming in 5wks & 5mm not 4mm Grey hard shell polycarbonate rear window coming FOC as Hopkins motorsport owed me a big favour Thumbs up

Just my dash wiring & front suspension to set up now

That said it's useful taking it to someone that does know what they're doing to give you a good baseline. Then you can tweak settings while at the track and see how it affects the car

Will owes me a favour & knows Peougeots & Combe & he has all the corner weight equipment & camber check gauges Thumbs up

It's not going to be rushed LOL

Also my (full) Dash apart from lower glove box is being made out of Fibreglass now it will be ready by mid next week & I made a exact totally stripped out original dash & stuck bits on what I wanted ...it fits all around my cage nice & flush & is going to weigh less than a kilo ..he's making a mould off it after smoothing & filling any blemishes.....it's going to be flocked anyway ...it fits that snug that the screen has to come out to fit it ...not a issue for me that Thumbs up

My car needs the inside wiring sorting & then the dash fitting

Because I've changed so much it needs a good shake down locally (NOT) a 3hrs drive away & note I would have to drive it to & from there Crazy

I can't believe how much the standard fan unit weighs, it's crazy. IIRC you've got a DTA so may as well switch to a slimline for more weight saving?

Yes but they don't cool as well as standard one with the cowling on ...so I'm not changing it yet ....money spent in better places Dan ...Sandys got my standard one wired into my DTA so I could ajust when I want it to come on ...so a slimline fan would be easy to fit but don't need it ...Water temps always been great & now I have a open circuit Oil sandwich plate ...oil should be great too ....the thermostat Mocal was found to be sticking Thumbs down

Ahh, fair enough. I'm going to look at creating a cowling like Prism has done to help my rad out, water temp is around 90 on track and stays there reliably so not too concerned but may as well look in to it Smile

Is that how powerful the standard one is? I can get away with a smaller one as the car is rarely sat still apart from on the grid and in holding areas. The fan I have brings the temps down well enough, not sure how powerful it is though as we had it spare

As you say Mei ...why change something if it's doing its job well Whistle
I've spent money where big weight savings possible & then I've fitted something different & sometimes better for a reason ...
Not always though LOL
