The man himself! welcome, since i know your on back to the issues haha,

I am happy to drive now as long as it is to get a wheel alignment....
the current issue is the steering, i was just at half left, straight and half right and at all 3 i was going straight.
the right tire is noticeably out of alignment, if the left is straight the right is facing inward by about 5 degrees ish.

will a wheel alignment fix this or do i have more work ahead?

I would address the droplink fouling on the hub issue first.

Currently it is not an issue or at least it was not then, i think it is a simple solution of just flipping the strut clamping bolt (whats its actual name?)

Pinch bolt fella something is not correct the drop link should not be that close pinch bolt is in correctly fitted from the look of it
Guru Welshpug rarely gives clear solution but will point you in the correct direction so i would consider the drop link position try and get some broader shots in mate show the whole thing from a couple of feet back wil make things clearer

Main thing im after is would a wheel alignment fix the steering?

I would really apreciate the photos of yours, the links are the same as OE but im almost certain that the Spaz struts moved the droplink mount.

Im looking at getting it done in about 13hrs

Will be home in about 4 hours bud will get it stright up for you

If everything else is ok alignments will fix your direction like 360 deg wheels on a shopping trolley it wont want to go forward unless the wheels are stright
Biggest thing as always is are they the correct parts essential they are

Had noted on the pic shown you have no nut at the bottom of the drop link im guessing once fitted it pulls it away from the hub and pinch bolt!!!!

And turn your pinch bolt round Smile

If your looking at the struts side on from.brake disc side the tabs for the Arb drop links to bolt through should be angled to the rear of the car. So from looking at the offside brake disc should point to the left and from looking at the nearside disc... to the right.

Your strut pinch bolts are round the wrong way too the nut faces the front of the car so it's away from the Arb link.

So from what i make of this the fins on the struts should face more towards the front of the car with the drop links fitted how thet are show in the pics ???
