the money is not the issue, but i'm not so willing to send credit card details over the internet, and not everyone have Paypal account.i still think that it's unfriendly and generally the UI for posting sucks, if this was free membership i don't have a say but once i charged to pay even small amount, i'd still want something back in return. the problem as i see it : the forum owner and managers think in terms of frames, rules, numbers and miss to see the real essence of it : it's a community, without the active and interesting figures, it's nothing. ________________________________________ French military victories?Did you mean French military defeats? |

I really can't understand where the layout qualms come from. Do people seriously prefer forums with a busier layout than this one? The simpler, the better as far as I'm concerned. Even little things like the smiley selection is better than some forums with 400 of them to choose from. Some of the sigs on here are grotty enough as it is, who'd want enormous unsightly pics of your car too look at each time you post " "? Is that a desired forum attribute? f**k. That. s**t. The layout does not need altering. Yikes, I guess I'm far too old. |

I'm not that bothered by a fiver, this forum has saved me loads more than this. I'm a lot more bothered by AUTO-DELETING THREADS than I am by paying a fiver or not. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

£5 is nothing when you compare it to the amount of time you post to ask questions and more often then not get a straight forward answer with no snidey remarks. It also has the added bonus of keeping the chancer at bay who make one post trying to sell their piece of crap car and are then never heard from again, let not make it free and let all those mongs back in. It some complain and dont want to pay, tough. ________________________________________ Veni, Vidi, Spurius brutus detruncaviMr T. pitties the fool, Chuck Norris rips the fools f*ckin' head off. Just paid my 3rd fiver for a third year of membership.f**king WOW!! I'm so skint now I will only be able to eat air for the rest of the month. Seriously though well worth the money. This place has saved me £k's. People want go outside and have a word with themselves complaining about a service that costs £5 a f**kin year. If you can't afford that then you can't afford to run a 6 or rallye. Remember this is the reason the place is here. Instead all we get nowadays is people critiquing admin all the time. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi6PS3 - Black Ops 2 Engine crane for hire Renfrewshire |

The forum has saved me £kkk over the years and i do not see a problem with £5 a year. The forum changed to £5 for the simple reason of that we got s**t loads of trolls and bad sellers which everyone moaned about. Admin had a vote and most people agreed to pay for membership to put the trolls off, so we got what we wanted. Now everyone is b**ching saying its killed the forum. What killed the forum is these cars are getting on a bit now and most people are buying jap or clio's etc. Most people that owned 306's have now moved on and expect the forum to be free so they can have a chat. Make you're own free forum if you hate this place so much. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |
