Had the Blaze MOT'd today and got this as an advisory"Side skirts fitted unable to assess sills properly" How is that an advisory? am I supposed to remove them next year so they can get a better look?  Being blaze also hides alot of rust so maybe I should repaint it for them. ________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

no this covers mot tester as it might be rusty underneath side skirt that they cant remove to check behind________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

As above, testers are not allowed to remove plastic covers so they are covering their arses.When you hit the milkfloat and the car folds up, its not their problem  ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I got an advisory for the undertray on the a3 for the same reason.________________________________________ keep the machinery between the greeneryR766JKV nile blue gti6 - sold  V634DLR black gti6 - sold Now driving a skoda furby vrs - for sale Currently piloting an Audi a3 sportback |

Unless your under tray leaks oil against gravity onto your engine, I suspect you mean it keeps your driveway clean. I approve of under trays for this very reason. |

I removed my sills to find a nice little rust patch had developed, so they are correct in why they say it. Yup, they like to go under the b-pillar/rear sill area.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Just caught it in time, I think that the plug under the rear arch liner was the cause since it wasn't there! Had a good hunt around with the light and it was only that one 10cm square that went, coated everything near it in rust bullet for good measure!________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected!
