Yes I saw that. In a care home you have quite a few guardians working there all at the same time, and the ones I have met arent soft Or there is kinship, which is where the kids live with another part of the family, like the grandparents, which is usually worse for the kid. |

What about bringing back in National Service? surely that would teach respect, discipline and other benefits for the youth of today. They could learn skills and other trades whilst in; thus removing the need to employ immigrants for the trades in short supply. ________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! Get a few together and thats it, peer pressure will take over and of course they will be drinking, smoking and doing petty crimes together. Ah, I see. I think it's just that people in general need to take more of a responsibility - parents are all to quick to hand issues off to social workers or teachers rather than dealing with them themselves. How about telling their parents or guardians to man the f**k up? They are in care, they dont have parents Or if they do, they are in prison. But thats the point. Like I said, there needs to be a cut off point because it will just keep continuing in a massive cirle with their kids, and their kids kids etc and I dont think any change of law will ever stop that. Make it your own personal role to vasectomise them all, stopping the circle. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

I don't think it would work these days Rich, it would cost too much money for a start. In principal it would be brilliant for young people to learn the ways of the forces and be disciplined and respectful etc. ________________________________________ Less than 24 hours to go! |

What if you don't want a TV or any device capable of receiving a signal? You aren't forced to have one. Freedom of choice. Discuss. ________________________________________ |

Not my words Pebbles - Those of Stan White. That's rather sad does that mean the "things that hold the coil pack in" thread is gone? I wonder, would an archive be that expensive? Considering this is a small club and we've all paid? Also what happens to genuinely useful threads. If they get auto deleted that hardly seems sensible. I'm sure there has already been a debate on this a while back.. I'm guessing aurodeleted by now though? ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

I always thought the font on the TV licence letters were rather small...As for capitol punishment it really is a messy argument to get into, mostly because of the whole if you've killed someone they deserve to die vs the human rights act etc. I'll list some points. First of all the justice system can and will get it wrong. Since the 1970s there has been 72 or so people let off death row because they were proven innocent and I believe around 23 innocent people killed. That in my eyes is bad and the government/justice system murders too. It has been proven that it doesn't deter criminals with figures to show. The whole right to live thing (ready for the "what about the people who died rights" ). Promotes a brutality society and brutalises the law. Retribution is wrong and flawed on so many levels. Mental health issues. I know I haven't gone into much detail but I haven't got time to sit here going into them. Plus it won't change people's views on it lol. I'm just glad we don't have it here and as far as I can see it never will. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye '99 - Sold |

For all kids - even the most academically advanced ones It's a possibility at some point in the future, I wouldn't be against it. Although I'd want anyone with mental issues exempt. Not sure what issues, but the more serious s**t at least, also not sure how this could be governed as all the sissy kids would jump on the "I'm mental help me!" Bandwagon, Blurring the lines between the poor sods with genuine issues, and lazy kids. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |
