I remember the thread. I'd imagine this thread could quite possibly lead to a similar outcome.

Na, people will dig it up from time to time to stop it being deleted, hopefully. Oh Stan will come on, write something really weird, then we'll all read about it in the news the next day.

So, back on topic...

What do we think will be the outcome of the camera issue? Do you think they will be changed or do you think the current (illegal) ones will be incorporated into the legislation?

Personally, I hope they end up having to change them as if not it just goes to show that the Government can change the goal posts whenever it suits them or whenever they screw up as in this case. Yes

We live in a democracy, how about the Government let us vote? I for one would vote to leave them be until they needed replacement.

Good idea Jim, except the Government aren't in the habit of letting people have a vote (despite as you say we live in a so-called democracy) otherwise if they did old Dave from Wantage would let us have one on the EU before the next general election, rather than tactically after it. Due to this, I fear we won't be getting a vote on the camera system either. Sad

Laugh my ass off can't see why they were removed, both were funny and not in poor taste. Somebody doesn't like to have fun poked at him and is abusing his powers. Funny how he takes such an aggressive stance where he feels our government has done something similar...

There is more than a smidgen or irony in abusing your power as a moderator to ban someone from disagreeing with your opinions that no-one shares with you.

I'm gonna make a "Un-ban Gilesy, Owain clearly deserves it more" t-shirt.
