The picture that Gilesy put up was offensive in general, not to me, I actually laughed when I saw it too but felt it was inappropriate due to the content. By removing it, I felt I had solved the problem and the message would clearly have got through.Obviously not though, as it was reposted by the same member, therefore they *temporarily* had their posting rights revoked. Don't panic... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Offensive in general? To whom exactly? It was a picture, of you, amongst a German aircrew taking their ease. I don't think there are many survivors of the Blitz on this forum, or people who lost relatives at Auchwitz for that matter. It wasn't offensive, it was satirical, quite funny at that and I don't believe you had the right to remove it, you had the power to yes, but this isn't the first time you've overstepped the mark when it comes to what's ok and what's not on this forum.Nobody rushed to delete the highly amusing yet mildly racist photoshop of NGK did they, same shoe different foot. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. Threads and posts are getting deleted all over the place now just in case they cause offense. Espeically things with links in that people can choose to click on, its not like its forced on them. Its like when wrestling turned to s**tty PG rating after the epic attitude era. Rikky typed Nigger the other day so I'm guessing that kind of thing is fine? |

No, I'm concerned with people of the Jewish faith especially being distressed by such images. As said, I saw the funny side of it, I don't care if anybody wants to use my avatar in a humorous way, just don't use it in a way which could offend people with different religious beliefs to yourselves. Double standards Jim?30th June 2012 - J Soulman was banned for 1 week after a (I suspect drunken) tirade of abuse against Jewish people was posted around 3am. Gilesy has just posted a picture which *could* cause offence and he has been banned, albeit for a much shorter period. Where are the double standards then? I try and be as equal across the board as I can be. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

So riddle me this, what happened to threads that I made that randomly vanished with links that people could 'chose' to click on? |
