I think it's a load of rubbish.I found a site saying a pahse 1 is roughly 1212kg. A Rallye is roughly 1163kg, the site may be wrong but it looks about right? ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye '99 - Sold |

Stop whining the lot of you. PH1 6's are nice but, the Rallye's are iconic for those who know it. For those that don't jog on if you don't like it. It's not the end of the world. ________________________________________ 306 RALLYE |

As for how could it be, For a start a Rallye which is a Phase 2 Is 53kg lighter than a Phase 3 GTi6 Why did peugeot compare the rallyes weight to a phase 3? Because They both came out within about 2 months of each other and a Rallye was launched along side the "new" 306 So aside from not having all the bits that made a Phase 3 gti6 ever so slightly heavier than a Phase 2 gti-6 Its doesnt have all the Phase 2 extras a Rallyee has either. While having many of the weight saving items the Rallyee had (i.e no passenger airbag) A lot of them dont have sunroofs or AC either, So you can see it could add up. Its also completly different externally different lights front and rear Different Panels all around ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

The gay stickers and trim pattern? 53kg is not enough to warrent losing the ac and electric windows. Plus they have the ph2 spoilers and such. Its all about the phase 3 six. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

You have exclusivity with a Rallye, some people like that and pay extra for it. Then again there are also people who report abuse because of a simple debate. It takes all sorts to make a world go around.________________________________________ Less than 24 hours to go! |

53 kilo and some striking graphics are not to be sniffed at, you really notice the difference in weight in cars without much torque. I've had two Rallyes and a 6 and I know which I like more, even if the 6 was LBSC.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I hate driving with passengers...as the car is always faster when you are on your own due to less weight...and then when someone jumps in so you can prove it, you no longer can cos they weight a billions kg's |
