hello folks

some of you may recall, late last year i decided to sell up most things peugeot Crazy but as a few are aware, i'm still doing the axles. along with repairs and servicing on pugs for other people.

so with the rallye gone, and a good chunk of the spares gone aswell, i decided to treat myself to an e36 m3.

problem was, i wasn't going to pay £10k on a car which was prone to the rear chassis cracking No

so after a lot of deliberation, i decided not to spend too much on a car.

i wanted something i wouldn't spend on like a peugeot, but something uber reliable and quick Yes

enter

apart from a big service, and wheels refurbed, i really haven't spent too much on it.

spent 2.5hrs today, washing, claying, washing, claying, and washing again. needless to say, it's come up well.

cheers

the rear subcframe cracking on the e36 and e46 m3's was only select cars and even bmw were still fixing the e46 ones under good will gesture if your car was up to 10yrs old. rwd+12 sec 0-100 = win

New M135i is a absolute bargain.
I was tempted to get one on finance.
And i would never get a car on finance.

I decided to wait and get a 1m or M3 CS/CSL or something instead

As said there are some silly uprated parts prices for these.
The Mugen air intakes are LOL worthy...

Good choice, prefer the EK9s myself but for the money you can not go wrong with an EP3! Certainly has reliability over a Pug, my old Civic didn't need anything done all I had to pay for was a wing mirror and a service (only had it 10 months before I got the '6).

really wouldnt bother tweaking it as unless you go kpro the mods are not worth while performance wise anyhow as i had mugen airbox and then got a gruppe m, 4-2-1 manifold and fujitsubo legalis r exhaust system and only saw 6bhp gain but in all honesty the car felt so much better standard

Looks a nice motor and its cleaned up well, when i drove one i really got put off with the driving position, thats one of the things i like with the peugeots.

Im not much of a jap man myself apart from the Evo and Supra's at most.
