Yep certainly is for the money. What mileage has yours done?May be a daft question but does yours make a kinda buzzing noise around 3k rpm? What is this? probably me just being paranoid but seems strange when uve only just got the car. Why did you get rid of your 1st one Jord? ________________________________________ Team 'No Longer A 306 Owner'Team 'VTEC' Black Honda Civic 'EP3' Type R Moonstone 306 Gti-6 - Died at 82k Black 306 HDI - Sold 08/08/2010 at 102,229 |

Got rid of first one, as wasn't shown how to drive it. Just picked it up from dealers without even a test drive. Only when I decided to sell, and bought the Jordan, that I knew what vtec was all about. The only buzzing I can think of, is the plastic shield over manifold tends to vibrate a little ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. Haha theres a certain way to drive these? I kinda have done the same with mine. Instantly knew i wanted it when i saw it at the dealers. My uncle (whose a car dealer) drove it and he said it was fine so brought it Hmm is the plastic sheild easy to locate/remove if this is the cause? Would i be able to tell just from revving it with the bonnet open if this is the problem? ________________________________________ Team 'No Longer A 306 Owner'Team 'VTEC' Black Honda Civic 'EP3' Type R Moonstone 306 Gti-6 - Died at 82k Black 306 HDI - Sold 08/08/2010 at 102,229 |

It's the cover that you see when you open the bonnet. It's quite a common issue, so I believe________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. lost4words wrote: Ok cool - ill check when i get a spare moment or two. Sorry to hijack your thread. Back on topic - what did you use to clean you car with? started off removing all tar spots with a rag and WD40. works a treat then i used bilt hamber 'auto foam' with my power washer. after that i used bilt hamber 'auto clay' along with meguiars 'last touch detailing spray'. then another covering of auto foam, follwed by a hand wash using meguiars 'gold class' shampoo. i'm hoping to wash the car again at the weekend, and go over it again with the clay bar, just to make sure i got all the s**te off then i will go around the car with smartwax 'smartpolish' (mmm, smells like bubble gum), then a genorous coat of 'naviwax' job done ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE.
