On a more serious note, I see from page 1 that option:-

quote:
11. 406 V6 Brembos with 330x28 Rotors 17" (ash)

Firstly, from what vehicle are the 330x28 rotors from and secondly, am I correct in assuming that for this setup, the calipers will need adapters??

330mm rotors are supplied by Compbrake not Hi-Spec.

Has anyone got experience of hi-spec rotors for Motorsport use? They're extremely cheap even compared to Compbrake.

If they are the ones I had in the 310 kit they weren't the best. RC6s ate them very easily.

Hmmm rc6's will eat most things but I have found on my track car a set of rc6 pads and discs tend to wear at a similar rate if that makes sense....

Just to update, my Tarox 6 pots with 310mm belled setup fits behind my new set of 16" 1.2's with a bats ass clearance between the caliper and inside rim. Just have to watch where you put the wheel weights guys and girls.

Could add Renault sport brembos used with 406 coupe 305mm discs to this list of it isn't on there already. Works out an awful lot cheaper than bells and rotors though obviously heavier.

If I used the Brembo/Xantia set up with cyclones and the 15mm spacer wouldn't the tyre hit the arch? I thought I seen somewhere that you could get away with a 10 mm spacer - or did I dream that Crazy

You dreamt that I think. Willwoods need a 10mm spacer but 406 brembo's just clear apparently with 15s but I suspect they'll scrub the arches.

if you had your arches/wings rolled that should cure the problem!
