hehe, I've just not bothered posting anything in a while as its just been a slow trickle of quite a bit of cash and lucky bargains here and there.

It started when i noticed Dan Taylor selling a block and 87mm omega pistons, used to be Matt Holleys running 88mm crank assembled by sandy, ran 220 bhp on newman ph2's, but Dan kept the rods crank and head as he is going Diesel block to keep it 2.0 and regs legal for competition.

ive gone 92mm crank and rods to suit, biggest hydraulic cam off the shelf, standard head casting, 3 angle seats, standard valves.

WOW! this thing is flippin awesome! Great work Damien!

Given it sounds frankly incredible, do you expect much hassle noise wise? I mean that is LOUD, and certainly places like Bedford i'd expect you to get some grief...

Keep it up mate, stunning Big grin

Hopefully mostly on the track & The only reason I've got so much track time is Wills New cars not 100% ready for Combe this week end so he gave me his slots Thumbs up

PS ...bit of news ....Wills Combe lap record got Beat that stood for 4 years ....surprise surprise by another chap in a 106 last Sunday with a 1700 new 232bhp =
Sandy Brown engine LOL

Damien took me out in this for a few laps at FCS. He overtook everything on track at the time, some of it twice!

Very, very fast car. Not only in a straight line (which it definitely is), but also the speed he can carry through corners in it is very impressive.

Thanks a lot Damien it was great fun.

How's he getting on with it? Been looking to see if there's any updates but not seen anything. The charger just didn't do it for me although cost wise can't beat it especially what he payed lol

What's the plans for yours now? Just enjoy it I guess?

How are you going to do the Aerocatches? I've still got to do mine at some point although it doesn't have hinge mount points like yours which makes it a bit more tricky!
