you could use a 205 tank, quite easy to plumb it into a 306.

dont cut into the top hose, ill get you a diagram later, standard 406 top hose.

Used some alloy 6mm plate & drilled & fitted the rubber bungs in the right position for the 205 radiator .....
Used the Aircon rubbers as they are smaller & same internal size ....

Going to fix alloy plates to cross member ...the reason I used 6mm is it lifts the rubbers enough to miss the oil cooler brackets

Nice update. Definitely consider making a shroud for the radiator, it's made the world of difference to mine! Thumbs up

My 10inch single fan is a Tripac USA made one so say good quality but not SPAL prices ...one fan kept it cool before & it's easy to add another if needed

Will the expansion tank have any issues with heat from the exhaust?

What's the difference Mei ?
Would the one I bought in the picture be no good ?

Where's the best place to connect the header tank bottom hose ?
I can fit it with the piece in the bottom hose or top hose ?....I didn't think the top hose would work because the thermostat may be closed ?....or am I wrong ?....fitting the large bottom tank filler Hose into the top hose would make things so easier Whistle

I can see the small top expansion radiator tube goes to the top of my expansion alloy tank ...

yeah with the square 205 tank tee off the upper heater hose to the bottom of the tank, fitting it to the top hose wont fill up properly.

the small takeoff goes to the rad and with a 6 engine blank the larger top takeoff with a factory bung, from a 405 airbox iirc, or an XUD rear water takeoff.

drill two 3mm holes in the thermostat either side, to allow any air to bleed out, its a peugeot/citroen sport mod that Ive done to all cars I've worked on.

go easy with those mikalor type clamps, too easy to over tighten those.

I might have a spare alloy takeoff, much prefer the standard plastic takeoff though, so much easier to fit, use a 406 top hose MIles has said.
