Well I've received my ajustable Droplinks ...I've had to buy 250-290 because my ARB front damper mount points are 40mm lower than stnd as my dampers have long Eibach ERS springs with helper springs ...250mm should be spot on & let me ajust them 100% for correct position...
Bought them off

Best quality rod ends I've seen .....same as Satchel use on my shift Thumbs up

definitely take it elsewhere, he doesn't understand modified cars clearly!

I would recommend one of our local ones but they're a fair trek from Bristol just for an MOT!

Pah, MOT Big grin I do have scrutineers though who can be equally annoying. One nearly refused me a pass because I didn't have yellow tape on my negative battery lead. Not sure I've ever heard of that regulation!

Strange then that I'd done 7 or 8 races before someone complained Razz I once had the T handle of my battery kill cord come off after I did the test and managed to get the scrutineer not to know!

Small update for today ..
Got cast alloy Base off Baz T who Mei knows he used to be on here & is a good friend of Miles ....it's to fit my cast alloy top mount Miles had spare Thumbs up
Needed a little few bits removing & smoothing & has gone off to be Nickle played the same as the top mount bit has Thumbs up

I'm sure Mei will know these are 1.8kgs inc top 1.9kg & you have to use a extra Cast Iron Alternator plate off a 205 Diesal ...& a rose jointed bar to tension the alternator belt ..

These 3 items weigh just under 2.00kgs together .....
The cast Iron top mount & base which has Alternator bracket in one piece weighs in at 8.5kgs ...THATS 6.5kgs lighter WOW Crazy
Plus it's neater & looks amazing ...bonus
That's a lot of weight off just with my Bonnet & engine Mount Thumbs up

As Welshpug rightly said ....find another Tester mines turned into a twat ..that really doesn't want any climbing in over door bars ....
I've got 4 coming tomorrow as they are cheap enough & it's one less thing for me to worry about on my Mot LOL

I'm always on the track at Combe ...bought like 14 sessions one year Crazy
I was giving most of the high powered cars a run for there money ....I think they like the Under dog with the standard engine LOL

PS I could only do all of this because of my New Girlfriend of 3years who's bought into my house & bought 1/2 in ...paid all my debt off & no credit cards
She's put £4K into it also LOL

I know ...when I saw Miles 2years ago & asked him about them he said if anybody offers him one he will let me know & True to his word ...he rang me 4weeks ago & said he has a spare top & a m8 of his Baz T has the bottom Thumbs up

Two years sourcing one & I even joined the XM owners club & asked them ..no joy & that's the truth Crazy
Wait until tomorrow night & they are Nickle played Thumbs up
