I sort of had to keep it out of it costing me so bloody much But getting the extension from David Warren I’m glad I did now .:.only thing is I’ve got nothing to put in or on it |

Had a idea ....I knew it wasent going to be cheap or a quick job .....I made all my engine mounts myself to drop and angle my engine so Sandy designed inlet that was made by Satchell would be the correct or close angle to fit the inlet below with some modification...hopefully not to much ...hope I got my measurements right This has just arrived at Maxi Motorsport/ Tony Palfrey’s place For those not sure what it is ....It’s Carbon /Kevlar air intake box off a Mk3 Maxi design ...need a flat green cotton air filter installed at the end and it fits over the radiator |

Damo, does it fit over the standard rad? I'd like to get an air box on mine but think I'll need to go to a 205 rad as my inlet points too far downward________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

I guess ? I’ve got two ways I’m thinking of fitting it at mo and both involve a bespoke rad sadly The 205 rad for my idea and how my non standard engine mounts angle and lower my engine mean it would be slightly to low I think ? |

Really pleased how the air-box is going to fit...The problem has always been how straight my Sandy designed / Satchell inlet has been ...it’s always had my ITG pushing hard onto the inside top of my bonnet pointing up and the idea of that was airflow / less bend etc I dropped the engine and angled the engine with bespoke engine mounts I made to make it all fit as best as possible ....so the air-box and the sequential box would work better and get the weight lower too I may? need to get a 3D printed first to try and then a billet machined alloy spacer with threads in to take up the angle to have the airbox straight where I want it... In the pic below the back of the airbox is parallel and 100% upright and you can see the Jenveys are still angled ...but now the engine is lower and angled more forward I can play around with angled spacers more without the top of the air-box hitting the underside of the bonnet or it not closing by 40mm ...had it would of before |

The air-box is straight and parallel in the pic but you can see how the Jenveys still point upwards but half as much as the used to because of the nearly straight inlet |

The Rad I have now and is in the picture is 370mm high I need it 75/80mm shorter but with a expansion tank possibly....we will see ...so 300mm tall really .I may have to get a bespoke Rad made with a expansion tank as I’m limited to room with the dry sump tank going in ...as Tony Palfrey said try and get a 205 Diesal Rad in but sadly it needs a expansion tank ...I may have room somewhere up in the corner of the wing but that may need making ? Just messing around thinking at mo ...it always changes on the way.... In the picture below the air-box is still 30mm to high and will Drop when I remove this rad to try |

Do you mean Ross / supercharger ? Also Problem with a 205 rad I’ve looked at is the top outlet is at a awkward angle and no built in expansion tank Big thank you Mei |

yeah exactly that, my thoughts would be to have the tank full height still if there is room, otherwise you will have issues filing the system up that would negate having a built in tank.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
