Big thank you to David Warren for my Dash centre section that’s now angled towards the driver 90mm After bonding it on two days ago ...today I strengthened it more by using fibreglass on the inside with West Coast system and used black dye in the epoxy ...including x3 layers of fibreglass cloth one on top of the other overlapping the other ....that should do the trick before filling and blending the outside tomorrow ready for A Re-Flock From Lee Egan / 3gan on here |

Before I blend the sides on the outside I was just toying with ideas of gauges ...This won’t happen but good to see I now want them all in one place visible easily....the centre console covers 2 inches of the bottom also and the top curves over so don’t want anything near the top The old front I cut out is on the right in black PS ...I’ve got a DTA digital dash but I don’t want it cluttered to much and I’m using it for RPM / sequential Gear number / lap time GPS / and a couple of other bits ....I’ll keep trying different ideas until I find the one I like |

Been a little busy in work and on my 2nd job on the Railway so I’ve not been able to spend as much time on the car as usual....Anyway I’ve just used a purpose designed West Coast Epoxy roller to lay down the first coat of two possibly three thin layers of black dyed epoxy ...very impressed with the rollers and how the White fibreglass covers even with one coat ...if needed ?...I’ll lightly sand in between each coat ...hopefully I won’t need to |

I didn’t like the cold feel of Alloy and narrow top of my Sequential gear-lever in the picture below ....I miss the nylon ball which my Satchell shift had ... |

So this one off got designed and I asked him to throw in a Maxi logo for good measure....it’s much longer than my Satchell one but has a good size top ....it’s being 3D printed in the next couple of days This should feel a lot better and not be so cold as the feel of machined Alloy |
