Something aint happy underneath. Get on a high reving over run and it makes a right racket. Luckily I still have the longlife and a spare cat. You know, just incase. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Well, I cut the cat open and removed the s**t, pretty blocked up.... but containing a lot less Cadbury Crunchie as I'd expected.Anyway, the car revs freely now and I beat a 182 up a steep bank.... haha proof? Seriously though, I still don't know if the extra noise is making me think it's sorted, it does pull freely now but I feel that low down it isn't quite as responsive ________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

Thats because decats seem to drop torque. I actually put my cat back on because of that.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

You don't loose torque with a de-cat,its just higher up in the rev range.Going from a de-cat to a standard cat made my car feel well strangled at high revs, where as with the de-cat it revved out freely So I've now got a 200 cell sports cat welded into my Magnex de-cat,spot on half way point between the two And passes the MOT easily ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

I got a quote from longlife by calling direct £299 for cat back and £299 for the sports cat 200cpi.Getting it done when I get my car back from pug1off having the shafts done and me rose jointed ARBs Getting it done on finance 50% deposit then pay off rest over 6mths interest free. So not to much to lay straight out. ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better! Its not what you drive, its how you drive that wins the race! |

Bit like subway, buy one at birmingham international and it costs nearly double what it does in the local one on the high street ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |
