You'd have to get the originals pocketed or buy forged items Out of interest with your weight have you changed the windows and panels yet? |

i think bridgecraft engineering pocket them for £80-£100, then you may as well fit new rings and a set of shells, so approx £230 plus new head gasket, bolts. cams about £500, remap £400. i reckon (based on what ive read on here) you could be knocking on the door of 200bhp for around £1350, thats assuming you only need 'just' rings and big end shells. |

marky - you have to time your new cams specifically then after that its basic cam timing when you come to fit / replace timing belt |

its not that hard to do, find exact TDC then time up your cams with a DTI (dial test indicator) gauge |

no. aftermarket vernier pullies won't work with gti6 ecu/phase sensor. standard pullies are adjustable though, i can't remember how many degrees of 'adjustability' the give but more than enough for PT81's etc |

markylee wrote: t99 pug what sort of cost in pocketed pistons Speak to Martin (crf450) on here or Allen Allen his side kick, they can pocket standard pistons they did mine for me. I can't remember how much it cost to be fair (maybe £100 but dint quote me on that) but pocketed standard pistons allow fitment of slightly more aggressive cams ie pt81's but they can be correctly and safely timed up due to the deeper pockets. Hope this helps! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! My Budget track engine build thread! Now appearing at a Trackday near you!! |

You could always go for some bike throttle bodies, 'Peugeot96' on here is doing this at the moment. It will be a lot cheaper than going down the Jenvey route, especially if you fabricate some parts yourself.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

i wonder how much of the good side of 200bhp you would see with bike bodies alongside pockets and PT81's? |
