That wishbone angle is pretty nasty with you having the subframe that low. Probably find it rolls a lot and scrubs the outside of the tyres.

Yes it scrubs theouter edge of the tyres like hell! Killed the ones on my wheels. Any way around it? Maybe some negative camber or if i can excend the ball joint somehow? Also as seb says when i accelorate quick or hit the littlest of bumps it trys to throw me off to one direction. Not much i can do about the subframe tho. I have lifted the engine around 15mm so i could maybe lift the subframe too but if i do it will give me less engine clearance and i wont be able to fit me engine tray as its very very close as it is.

Seb i could pop up over the new year maybe if i dont get anything sorted. Let me know about a price if you can Thumbs up

from what i saw earlier, your subframe spacers were about 30mm, maybe try taking 15mm off them

or more if clearance will let you???

probs about £40 to reangle your decat flange, i will see him tomorrow to get more accurate price, if i

had decent mig welder then i'd do it for you

Could you not just buy the roll centre kit and bump stear kit??
I know it wouldn't help the shaft angle but at least it will get rid of the stearing issues
I'm having the same problem with the Dimma however I can't use the roll centre kit as I'm running 330 rotors and the ball joint hits, rose joints ftw Sad

The roll centre kit is an extension of the ball joint spindle which in turn lowers the wishbone angle, the bump stear kit spaces the track rod down from the hub which lowers the track rod angle!
Both will help to get rid of the issues your having however the drive shaft angle will be the same, the only way to change that is to raise the subframe and by the looks of it you would have to raise the engine too!!
Lots of work, if the shaft are fine as they are I would just buy the kits and leave the subframe and engine as it is... Lower centre of gravityDunno

have you heard a V6 without the cat? Proper excessive i must say!

Head turner definatly! Police tugger without a doubt! Be warned if you have not changed the log book!

I was in the other car Xsi before i took off the road and the police stopped me and checked the engine cause it sounded more sporty then it should from factory.

Only had a viper induction kit and scorpion exhaust fitted.... Jesus! Lol

Who is it that makes the ball-joint "extenders" to correct the wishbone angle on lowered cars? Saw a thread in "for sale" a couple of weeks ago but I'm far too lazy to dig it out for you. Razz

It would just be easier to sort the engine/subframe spacer issue out first is last than buying bits to "bodge" it Wink

Tracking will be out too after fitting coiloversYes

This will affect your handling a fair bitThumbs up

As above regarding sump guard, either space it out,or get it cut/re-welded lower just where the sump/exhaust are going to touchSmile
