The shaft probably twisted in the arm. Try getting the pin in now - I imagine it's moved around when you wiggled. ________________________________________ |

Looks like it may have. Just got in from work with a view to get the arm off, but it won't budge, big lever bar under it and no movement at all, even with a shock from a hammer too |

no, very different, pokes out of the front of the box, pivots on a ball and is actuated by a hydraulic slave cylinder.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Hit too hard out of frustration and the bottom of the fork must've smashed through the bottom. Also that metal ring fell from somewhere... |

i've also just been out to see if my top arm comes off my 1.6 gti 205 box and it won't. likewise i smashed both top and bottom bushes out so it cleared the input shaft and came out the top so i have better access to getting the pin out. seized solid and i have about 1.5mm each side to work with. nice________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Yes Rikky, I meant Batesy. Hopefully, now that you.ve got the arm off and you can fit new bushes etc you should be able to get it on fairly easily. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

On the top of the clutch pedal is a hook that you slot the white rectangle onto.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

Oh yeah, it feels like it just sits in there, or is it meant to clip in with a bit of force? Pedal now operates arm with some resistance, although not the same as prior to starting |

no, just sits in there, when connected to the clutch it can't come off, unless it breaks.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
