Thanks again guys, I will be doing plenty of track days that's for sure and I do want to do the ring and spa at some point!I don't think I could ever afford to take part in any race series, I wouldn't mind taking part in a "one hit wonder" in the time attack series just to see how competitive me/the car is. |

Man, i have just spent the last 45 minutes reading through all yours and everyone else posts, full credit to you Pugheaven, that's dedication!. I was lucky enough a few years ago to live down the road from someone who had a 306 Maxi Kit car, and would always go to look out of the window when i heard it screaming up the hill.Hopefully One day i'll get to build one. |

Well after looking at nothing but houses for sale everyday for the last few weeks I thought it was time to order some goodies for the dimma TRS carbon fibre navigators and drivers footwells 2 x sparco seat subframes so I can fit my seats Plastic4performance 4mm bronze pro window kit with pro sliders It's a 3-4 week wait for the Windows but hopefully I'll get the other bits a bit sooner Next is to decide if I go to pro alloy or just copy (which I hate doing) fatlapit and use a 200sx rad and evo intercooler which would save me around £600 |

You will regret not doing it later in life. Then atleast you know you have not copied and you have a one off. Nice work by the way, coming along now. Can't wait to see it at some shows next year. ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

I really really don't want to go down the eBay intercooler and rad route and know that the pro alloy installation would be neater and probably last longer I'm just finding it hard to spend money on the car at the mo due to selling/buying a house! If Ross is still interested in a pro alloy set up I'm more likely to use them but if he isn't I will have to use the sx and evo setup |

They quoted 1200 for the first rad and intercooler and cheaper for the next one due to all the design and fitting costs would be covered on the initial set up.Won't be the same as the pro alloy cooler I sold you mate, it will be 100mm deep core cooler and 50mm core rad |

Pure car porn mate getting there slowly. Can get wheels welded up for not to much depending on how bad it is. A mate of mine has welded up the 18's on his 330D estate a few times after various potholes. ________________________________________ Black power baby! Going to see if it can get welded next weekend but will mean powdercoating all 4 wheels to match, the crack is on the outer lip where the tyre bead sits so not sure if its wise to keep the wheels after they have been fixed if its possible...My own fault for sticking 20" wheels with elastic bands for tyres I think the dimma will go to pro alloy when I move so its out of the way for 3 weeks or so, like you say slow progress but its better than none at all I guess |

Using the rear quarter standard mounts like I did with the grey car and fixed fronts and rear windscreen.I'm sure the sx rad and evo cooler does work but with the fabrication costs of moving the bottom pipe on the rad (standard location would get in the way of the ps pump) I may as well spend a bit more and get a better bespoke product! I haven't taken short cuts or scrimpt so far so don't really want to start now |

I did that with my p4p windows and they leaked at the rear quarters - might be worth sealing them against the rubbers? |

Shame about the cracked BM wheel Olly!!Same thing happened to one of my Schnitzer wheels on the X5....took it up to Autowheels near Droxford and they did a fantastic job. Used them again to repair a crack in one of my Superleggeras on the 306, again an excellent job. Would highly recommend them! TT |

My p4p window kit has arrived , over the Christmas period my mate WILL have finished the boot lid and other bits so can then fit the Windows I will then be able to drag it outside and wash the 2 years worth of dust off it! Booked into pro alloy on the 17th of Jan and they will have it for around 3-4 weeks Once that's done it should just be finishing touches, run the engine in and then re map |
