been trying to contact miles all day to get a stainless system bought. but no joy Sad

doing the brakes didn't come without issues. i had a visit off the council, saying they had received a complaint that i was working on my car, and other cars, and causing a nuisance Blah Blah

That's a nice neighbour, what did they say to you? Surely as its your own car they can't do anything?

10 years i've lived here carl, and only ever had one complaint that the bass on my stereo in the garage was too high

according to the council, i shouldn't have as many spares as i have, and i'm not allowed to be buying and selling parts as to them it looks like i'm running a business.

Jobsworth c u next tuesday. Clearly the public service isn't busy enough, enabling people to meddle in other people's business. And since someone like that would never know a business if it jumped up and bit him painfully in the nether regions, having undoubtedly suckled at the public service freeloading teat all his life, how would he even work out if you were running a business or not?

And as for the neighbour - is a little bit OTT shopping someone to the council for working on their car?? Maybe the neighbour should move to North Korea or some other totalitarian regime so he could work as a Secret Police informant or something similar to spice his life up a bit. Unless you had oily engine bits on their driveway or setting fire to things with welding equipment which I'm sure you didn't. Back in my grandfather's day everyone worked on their own car greasing suspension joints every 3000 miles etc. Garages even had pits in those days for that very purpose.

That is the problem with this country. These days there are too many people getting involved in unimportant things and so are too ready to whine and bleat instead of getting off their backsides and work for a living.

Anyway, after that rant, car looks great and love your work on nice silver calipers.

The exhaust is about the same as std.

The scorpion was quite quiet, so tended to rev it more ( if you understand what I mean?)

But new exhaust is better, as I'm changing gear lower in the rev range now

as the new owner of my rallye is collecting this weekend, i took it for an m.o.t 5 months early.

rallye flew through it's test, with no advisories at all Smug

the owner of the garage said, it's always a pleasure to see the cars i fetch to him, as he knows that i put so much time and effort into making them right Big grin
