Mallard Green... One of the best colours IMO! T34 FTW! My brother said to me, now I have this new job, we should start a 'Cossie fund' as this is what we both want to aspire to. I don't think he realises how long it will take to save for an Esc Cos(even a Motorsport Edition) as well as a house deposit, is going to take I would like a MKII but they are a lot more certainly for a good one! ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

That escos is actually great value. It's been a while since I've looked but an average one was making around that a couple of years back. That's a steal for the condition. ________________________________________ |

Had a Peugeot 106 cosworth but never of the ford variety. When I drove it today it just felt all good. Picking it up Saturday so will see what it has to offer, just hope it's a dry day (so it stays clean) Carl ________________________________________ C.G.Cars of Leicester, Peugeot/Citroen/Renault specialist Tel: 01162 624498/07799 405184 WWW.CGCARSLEICESTER.CO.UK36 narborough road south, Leicester LE3 2fn MOT station now open, tests £35 with a free retest. I've always loved cossie's.There's something special about one when you drive it, no other car i've driven gives you the same feeling. Usually, in mine anyway, it's a feeling of "will i get to my destination without it either breaking down, or killing me" ________________________________________ 1999 Gaystone blue '6,1990 sierra cosworth 4x2 |

jord294 wrote: the escort is nice, BUT for that sort of money i'd be more tempted this That is a nice sierras, I always remember working at Ford years ago and always said I would have an escort some day. coskev wrote: looks mint, best colour too get some dinatrol cavity wax in the rear chassis legs and sills if not allready done Car has been partially restored a few years ago I believe but all the areas I have checked are full of waxoyl and it's been applied very thick. The underside is that of a few month old car, it's unbelievable. ian7675 wrote: So how is it Carl? What's the drive like, how does it feel....tell us everything The car was only located about 20 miles away, so I picked it up and drove it back, gingerly for the first 15 miles then I gave it some for the last few miles, it feels very heavy compared to the rallye and not as chuckable, but once on boost it has grunt, is being in the right gear at the right time to keep it on boost. I only took one photo, last night I took the missus away and only just got back so never had no time with it at all. The weather seems really nice today so might get it out and get to know it a bit better. The car is very clean but with the crappy weather yesterday it's filthy, plans are to put my own little tbits to it, get the front splitter painted gloss black and remove a few engine components and get them re plated etc, other than that it's perfect, oh I might change the wheels, not so sure on them. Looking good Would need a fair bit of £££ chucking at the engine to keep up with your Rallye though Only downside to the Cos is the horrible MT75 gearbox, feels agricultural compared to later 4x4 cars Has it had the ratios changed in the box?Or just strengthened standard ratios? ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |
