On the end of the shaft I expect. Would be better if they were marked along them, but just means I have to commit to removing to find out, unless I can measure the lobes with a vernier and check those measurements with Cat Cams to find out what they are exactly.________________________________________ ![]() |

quote: Wind your neck in The Goodwood in question was just a shonky conversion, that the owner had paid a supposed prefessional company to do. I looked at it and it looked like a DIY pretty rough conversion. The engine was fitted onto the original 309 engine mounts,he was told by pug1off they would be fine. Would you do a conversion like that and drop it on them? No,exactly. I put my engine in on the standard mounts yes. As long as they in good condition they will be perfectly fine. This does't mean pug1off should Guarantee them does it? Think you mean professional. So you wind your neck in pal . ________________________________________ 230bhp 205 gti6 |

So you cut corners too Whats the point of using old used mounts when its so easy/cheap to fit new ones? Then again your obviously happy with doing a half arsed job.............. Ok I see Wat your saying. Every time an engine is re-moved an re-placed you must put new engine mounts in. Cheers ________________________________________ 230bhp 205 gti6 |

I've not seen any Catcams out of the engine but would imagine they'd be marked in the same place as my Piper and Newmans cams, on the end where the pulley goes. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I've had a GTi6 engine on Webber 45 DCOE Carb's on a unknown RR |(To me) and as we know unless the engine has been on a proper dyno then figures can be out, But the engine made 175bhp (Flywheel) which is the same as a couple of Bodied GTi6 engine's I know of done on another RR but until I stick a std 6 engine on them I have no reference to what it's like ________________________________________ 306 Rallye Sptint/Race Car, 205 CTI 1.9 8v to name a fewRoad, Track and Race/Rally car preparation to your personal requirements, Full Workshop & Diagnostic Facilities New and Second parts, from Plugs to Turbo's We now also carry out Routine Servicing www.pugracing.com & FB Page, https://www.facebook.com/PugRacing Ebay; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pug-Racing-Shop 2012/2013/2014/2019 Class Winners at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb & Joint overall, Class record too along the way, |

Im interested in the actual engine that Pug1off claim to make this power. I too want to simply cam it for the time being before considering a supercharger, i mean RussianGuys car goes incredibly well! And Braymond has done the same. Id rather not be taking the head off though....________________________________________ owain wrote: A GTI-6 with a good dashboard and the seats down can outsprint an E46 M3 in July. |
