I love this car, everything on it looks to be done to a very high standard. It's a shame it couldn't of been built a bit more stealthy as it would be one hell of a sleeper, you would never expect a 205 to move like this thing does or make the noise it does.

The seat belts anchor at the original top-rear points of the shell which makes the straps very close to level in the flesh. This will prevent the crushing of your spine in an impact associated with mounting the straps to the floor of the vehicle, but thank you for your concern.

The belts being at an angle like that look like one strap is more taught than the other. In the event of an accident, couldn't that potentially cause a twist in your back?

There cant be that many better road going Fwd cars if it will run 11.2 qtr mile surely? I suppose it depends what someone means when they say best. Performance or looks etc or just an all round best/favourite.

He did say "been in" though and I'd imagine she's a bit of an animal so unless you have been in something particuarly special this would easily top a lot of people's list, I know I could probably say the same if I'd had the pleasure of going in it.

    I know of a 106 that'll do 12's with a mere 200 bhp TU5, it is road legal.

that should give you an idea of why I don't think much of this Wink

It always amazes me people spend so much money on the engine, yet install a low quality cage and a E tech strut brace which spoils the car big time in my eyes, otherwise not bad

Thats a good effort but I bet he would have to do a hell of a lot of work to get that extra second or 2 assuming thats probably high 12's.

I dont base my opinions of a car depending if there may be something equal or better though otherwise I wouldnt think much of most cars I suppose.

Would be interesting to see said 106 and this on a rolling start say 40-140 I'd imagine this is where this 205 would kill most things. I wouldnt think standing qtr is really it's strong point hence being impressed by 11.2.

I can see why it wont appeal to eveyone though.

Hence I said "it's a shame it couldn't of been built a bit more stealthy" I.e no massive intercooler on the front.

Apparently someone put a 2P piece in the oil cap, which somehow made it's way to the sump, then it went bang!
Did it not get crashed at the ring 2 years ago and bent the shell?

I personally think this car is a LEGEND!!! and very very well built. Ive seen the car in the flesh on numerous occasions (shame I've never been in it) but the way it uses its power for 510bhp is very impressive even in the wet.

I would prefer the car if it looked completely standard and went like it did but it still doesn't look bad atall.

I say well done to matt for building one legend of a 205.
