come on the sc boys are asking alot of £££££ for the low blows 2nd hand, its not just been knocked up in a weekend, i`ll tell ya what i will go and get a 12k loan and see if i can get a 205 n mod it to that spec i bet i would need about another 5k on top of that, i have a mate called scoff with an r5gtt the engine alone cost 15k to build and its only just into the tens, never mind the rest of the car.

Um I paid £5500 for my high boost? Ok so it's a standard car apart from the engine so that leaves me 6k to do the rest!

Matt has spent 26k on the 205.

This car would rip a supercharged gti-6 a new one.

agree

wouldnt it be quicker with less horses!!! Have you watched it round the ring....guy admits first time round but my EX mrs in a 200 brake motor is quicker and smoother than that. It looks like it understeers like a b*tch but have seen it in the flesh lots of times where the wheelspin is comical but still love it, not a fan of the cage or harness angles form the photos but it is a great bit of car porn and has cost a fortune to build but its one of those pull it to pieces, shame, to get more money for it imo....

I love the way people like to put down other people's work, It doesn't matter what is is how good it's done etc there is alway critism.

Each to there own, I personally like it, it's a balls out monster.

It does look a handfull but it's going to be at the end of the day, when he goes up Prescott hill it does spend a lot of the time spinning but it's not exactly built for hillclimbing and still gets up there pretty rapid. I think Matt drives it the way he does to put on a show as much as anything else on days like that and he does a good job doing so.

If the power delivery is as shit as people are making out it wouldnt be doing standing qtr's in 11.2 surely? What can a high boost do a qtr mile in?

I dont think this and a Sc'd 6 are really comparable and having seen Stans highboost at Fcs and seeing this at the same time I agree with Rich that it would kill a hbsc 306.

theres no jealousy here.... price tags warrants a rip, i put it up as I loved the car, wouldnt buy it and could afford too. never meant to rip it to shreds. not my cup of tea but at same time admire the efforts gone into it. But unless someone wants to buy the bragging rights no ones going to pay that money for that car, ultimately IN MY OPINION

Not jealous at all. I could afford to buy it tomorrow if I wanted to but to me it is never worth £12k - never! I don't care how much has been spent on it. You never get your money back when modifying cars.

As for what's been achieved with it then yes it's great but at true end of the day it's roots lay in a 20 or 30 year old design.

There's a huge difference between the asking price and what it sells for. Ratboy's sold for not much more than £4k IIRC and Daveyboy pick his up for less than that I believe.

I couldn't care about the price, I think it's just amazing the work that's gone in. An 11.2 qtr is bonkers.
Maybe a different map would be better?? E.g 1st and 2nd gear the map only allows it to run half boost and then full boost 2nd onwards Dunno

I'm pretty sure it got smashed into the wall at the ring ? Not a fan of the big inter cooler on the front other than that it's an epic car Thumbs up

I'm not jealous & it's no doubt a monster but it's still at the end of it all a 205.

If you wanted to go that fast for less buy an Evo
