If the build quality is the same on the 225 as it is on the more basic models I'd personally stay clear of the megane, I know a good few people have problems with them. The Honda's though are totally the opposite, I know a few people who have had them and they have been faultless.Question is can you get a tidy example of either car for 4K, I'm not sure on the prices of the meganes but most Ctr's I see around the 4k mark arent ones that I'd be looking at ________________________________________ Ryan |

Don't confuse an R26R (pictured above) with a 225 Sport - they are VERY different cars! ________________________________________ 340 horses |

R26 over a CTR if you want a faster more capable car. CTR if you want some noise and an *k plus Rev limit.I went out in CUJ's old R26 and while it was a quick car it seemed a little dull on the noise front. Nothing that can't be sorted with a decent Zorst I guess?? Having said that you'll never get the induction noise on a FI car that you will on a NA one. ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. Been caught by a few Meganes on track days( they are Fing quick if driven well, but looks are an aquired taste), only ever seem to come up behind Hondas though.________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

The Megane has sticky trackday tyres tho so not really a fair comparison IMO. Although I'd much rather have that Megane over the Focus any day of the week. The Focus looks like a right ole barge! ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once.
