What's up Kev? Got the lurgey?

Loads of bugs going round at the mo, especially if you got kids, they bring all sorts back from school.

Could be your age catching up with you??LOL

Shocking to see how Evo owners don't get their cars under-sealed.

I come from the Skyline world and it's standard practice to have your car under-sealed as soon as it reaches the UK. All the decent import companies make sure this is done.

Fantastic work done on your Evo though mate! Hats off to you!

Thanks.

The trouble is with the Evos the rear crossmembers/diff etc cover alot of the chassis,so without dropping it all you cannot underseal/protect it properly.

Most import places underseal them as you say,but its only where they can see that they underseal,so the common rot spots are behind the rear crossmembers unprotected.

Finally got a little bit done

After a few months of ill health and major surgery on 27th of Jan I was glad to get some energy back and get in the garage todayThumbs up

Brembos powder coated, started fittting the new seal kits:

Fitted rear suspension/arms to pass side, just need new nuts for the balljoints before tightening the lot up

You can see in these pics where I've removed disc backing plates:

Drivers side rear hub carrier/bearing bolted up:

Thumbs up

It'll be fine, i'll just drape your tartan rug over it to stop it scuffing my slippers and we'll be away.

Just make sure you're near the front at the briefing so you can hear whats being said.
