The story began in the long 1998 when my father bought his 205 GTi and I was the one to fix it. I was always in to cars; I would say more in to what makes them work than driving! With the 205 I have learned a lot about Peugeots, so when it came to buying my first car I bought a 405 as I knew how to fix it. After saving some money I started to look for a nice 205 GTi, but just could not see anything that I liked at the time. So I thought: why not have a look at 306 GTi and Rallye? After a few years of Peugeots, I knew that the less stuff they had the less there was to break! Rallye was the natural choice!
So in June 2004 I have acquired my Rallye completely standard with just 35k miles on the clock
Things were kind of quiet for a while, until autumn of 2006 when I split with my girlfriend at the time and suddenly found the presence of free time and some disposable income. After reading on this forum how wonderful track days were, I decided to give it ago and went to Snetterton for a track driving course. I had a great time, understood that I cant drive and had a lot to learn! So it was a new challenge: learn to drive on a race track and figure out how to make the car a bit more suitable for it
The result been what we have now:
