Ouch, only ever used a straight bar to tow a landrover/truck. Rope is much more forgiving!________________________________________ owain wrote: A GTI-6 with a good dashboard and the seats down can outsprint an E46 M3 in July. |

m306 wrote: did it pull the bumper off? cos thats one huge gap you've got between the bumper and grill No, bumper has been like that for a while. All of the supporting brackets along the bottom are broken, and when I last put the bumper back on, I did it on my own. Its better to have someone hold the bumper up in place, while someone else does the bolts up. Will get it sorted out at some point, it does look awful! ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Its not the crank sensor lads. It would start with the small amount of fuel left in the lines, but now wont as no fuel. Fuel pump is not priming and not working.Got fuel pump from Ash and aiming to fit it tomorrow, lets hope its that ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Ash,On the other fuses (the ones under steering column) they are clear plastic, so you can see the wire. The engine bay ones arent, so cant see if its broken. If that makes sense :S ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

They all look fine Si Went and had a browse at local scrappy and raided some fuses from there and changed them all anyways as they look newer and better condition than mine. It hasnt sorted the fuel pump, but it has fixed my HID light (I thought the ballast had died) While changing the fuses I spotted this little f*cker! I hate spiders! And while trying to get it out, it ran on my hand. f*cking thing Also a few pictures of the bracket removal. couple for clen666 the metal shards get fooking everywhere Getting there with the stripping Another 1.5kg saved, every little helps ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |
