The new ones have a bit more ground clearance than the old ones Thumbs up

Probably get them powder-coated this time around, depends on what the local coaters gets back with as minimum batch size.

Possibly, but probably not nutcasewhosdeterminedtoscrapehissumponthefloor proof, they're still thin wall tube so that they flatten rather than twist the subframe in the event of someone pretending to be Mcrae Smile

Thicker walled versions with lugs to bolt sumpguards onto will be an option for those of you with the lead foot syndrome.

I'm hoping to get them in around the £60 mark, depends how much the powder coaters charge.

OI PHILLIP

You made em yet? LOL

Actually might be worth knowing as I didn't really read the thread properly before signing up in my excitement, are these actually being made or is this a hypothetical thing?

No, they're being made, I've got the steel here for them now and another 60m of tube on the way.

Just need to tidy out a workshop I'm borrowing and get the pipe bender and chopsaws down there.
Only problem is my old jig got chopped up so I'll have to make a new one and borrow a car to check the fitting again.
