Yeah he said the same to me but didnt know when he was going to get around to it. So until then i am still looking out for a second hand one if one crops up.

From what I have been told the lower brace is much more effective than the upper brace. The problem with the lower brace though is it fouls the sump, and will be a problem for anyone with a lowered car that has to go over speedbumps etc.

On Phils brace, this is not an issue.

I would also like one, get a batch made Phil Thumbs up

I have got one of the new versions down at the powder coaters, picking it up this weekend, but I don't know how long it'll be before I can make a batch up, so if you can find an old one, good luck!

Piccy of an old TU one.


The new ones have more ground clearance for lowered cars, but still the same amount of material there to protect the sump in case of heavy landings over humpback bridges LOL

How about if we start a list and it gets mahosive it may perswade you to make a batch? Wink

Just for you, I'd ordered 120ft of tube to arrive today for lower braces...
..for some mysterious reason Ninja the lorry hasn't turned up though, so if someone spots an artic in a hedge nearby give him a push LOL
