i have now done all i can to the 6 until i get my battery wires sorted and the PTFE gasket of phillipm. also need engine and gear box oil and power steering fluid. engine is done and fitted except the inlet manifold. got the front end on today and fitted my aero catches, fitted my battery behind the passanger seat so i have room for an oil catch tank and my air filter Cool

well got my engine up and running today Big grin was a bit of a problem tho. it would run for about 5 - 10 mins then cut out and i would have 2 jusp it of a mates car to start it again. took it up the petrol station and home again, pulled in to my street and the engine has locked up Angry f*cking fed up of these f*cking shit engines now, i have nothing but trouble. now i have broke my bonnet and headlight coz i was p*ssed off

dont no where i went wrong, put everything back where it came from, torqued everything in right, new gaskets, belts ect... i have no idea why. i have no look with these engines at all. time to remove the engine and cut a hole in my floor and go flintstone style LOL

8v turbo, mi16 with gti6 sump , or a v6

LOL i have been thinking of another 8v turbo engine but its too much hassle on same with a 6v + they both aint cheap and them 8v turbo engines are hard to get parts for now

chrisd306 has a bottom end i can try and if that dont work i will be going for a different engine then.

jap cars... well i wouldnt mind an ek9 Big grin
