well, went ahead with this today.

this was the chassis
after removing the mount



and this was the finished article.



so glad its finally sorted, never would have known it was f00ked without this post

Hia,
Think my 6 might need some welding up. Has a 'click-clack' when coming off the gas and a lot of movement in the top end but other than that I can't be sure.
I'll probably only be in the country for 2 weeks in December, might you be able to have a look at it for me then?
