Fair enough - I really liked CUJ's rallye on the B8s and eibachs. Was a very similar feel (from the passenger seat), but not quite as well damped.

And yes the price is a problem unless I break mine which is very tempting at the moment. Sad

But you have only just finished it! Cant be broken, no way, must keep it Yes

I'd go for bigger TBs than 21mm if you're going to this much effort.

I wouldn't bother with the bearings because they tend to be quite shite nowadays with less pins in them, id go for the bushes on the 205 site. About 90quid

I've just checked and mine are Bilstein PTS Tarmac spec rears, and are just for 205's i think. Number 460 250 on them.

From what i can gather Sean they are sprung for the 205 Yes The 460/250 is the rating, the 306 tarmac spec dampers were 600/300. They may well fit but im not sure if they would be any good for a 306 Unsure

I think you'd find 600/300's would be a mite uncomfortable on the road anyway Thumbs up

I think miles recommended the 205 ones, 306 ones are intended for much fatter bars.

I will see if i can find out if Seans should fit then Yes They are listed as 205/309 GTI Group A, i think Miles reccomends the GRP N's, anyone know the difference? Unsure

How much do you want for them Sean? If they fit i may as well give them a go i guess Dunno
