Er no, actually my constant Stan bashing has left me with little time for rolling the car back and forth lately, I hope it's ok.

It's sat on the slicks, so they are definitely flat at the bottom, but judging by how perished they are on the sidewalls, their roundness is the least of my worries! LOL

Yeah, most race tyres will go out of round if they're sat for a bit, straighten back up when you warm the carcass through though.

Yeah, but they were second hand when I got them so no telling how old they really are, I certainly wouldn't have much faith in them!

Dropped the tank out of the car today, tomorrow, I'll be plasma cutting a massive f**king hole in the floor in order to be able to drop in the fuel cell. Unsure

Not really, looks like the cage brace behind the drivers seat is going to cause me some clearance issues. It may have to get cut out.

It's a weird cage, my c**tstom Cages one left the area above the tank clear, but this one doesn't.

And as you can see, the tank is quite big.

The hole is the right size and shape, but the box won't drop in because of the cage. Even if I do get it in, I don't think I'll get the tank into the box once its welded in at the right height to clear the exhaust tunnel, that x-brace is going to have to go.

Oh cock!

Crikey. Fair play to you hacking it about.

Might invest in some roll cage mods with you later in the year. Wink

Are you suggesting that Rikky has that much animal magnetism that he can bend steel tube just by standing next to it?

Is it rippled on the front edge Jim, or is that a trick of the light?

Yeah, I leaned on it welding the back side. It's only thin tin. I'll straighten it out later on. You guys don't miss anything LOL

Happy with that, I've been putting this part off for ages as the idea of taking an angle grinder to a perfectly good floor pan fills me with dread. But it's in, it's as low as I can practically get it, it's safe where it is and it's over to the nearside as far as poss to help offset some of my weight as a driver. All the pumps etc are going that side too.
