Had to tweak that tube even to get it there too...like I said, they're good fun!
Although, thinking about it, I'm not sure there's a tube that wasn't tweaked LOL

Would have been easier to bend the car to fit to the cage Laugh my ass off

I cheated and cut the top off my passenger side turret tube, welded it to the down tube from the inside, then welded the top back on once finished. As for the hinges, they can go as the bonnet will be held on by pins. As said though, fitting in the wiper motor will be a challenge.

Not much to see really, it's all back in the box now for safety till I can get around to marrying it up to the bottom end.

Supercharging would put me in a class I have'nt got a hope of bieng competetive in, I'm going to struggle as it is! Plus why go to all this effort when I could get 400Hp easy with a high boost kit in the first place? I just want to see how far I can take it N/A.

You can get it past the wiper motor so long as you don't want to keep the hinges and you don't mind having to tweak the electrical plug.

If you want to keep the lot and still be able to undo the plug it's a whole lot more fun though!

Hinges are going as I'm geting a single skin carbon bonnet on pins. Plug I can relocate if necessary by cutting out the hole and re-welding in a different position lower down if needs be.

You'll get it past the wiper motor easy then?
Well, maybe not if it's welded in already LOL
