daveyboy wrote: I have the 30mm ARB and thats fine on the road I have to disagree with that. Ive not read the whole thread but the larger ARB's can be a bit skittish over the bumps on the road surface rather than the flat track type. Also the larger ARB's make the car worse in the wet but brilliant in the dry. Also whats the best way of taking the end plates off without having to take the TB out ? Would copper grease be a good idea when refitting them so easier to take off at a later date ? ________________________________________ Pug fee`ver,Pick a Bogey, buy a Pug. I wouldn't recommend the 30mm ARB for a road car, but the Hybrid makes the car considerably safer especially in the wet.Use a well greased head bolt with an impact gun if possible. |

Ok here is my problem I was under the impression that the 30mm was ok for road use but as said its not. I have a hybrid ARB all ready and was planning to change to a 30mm one when I have rebuilt my rear beam witch I have done (Arm tubes have been made bigger for the 30mm bar). my rear beam has 21mm Tbars and Spax PSX adjustable shocks.Do I get the 30mm and just use it on track 1 to 2 times a year or do I ask for a 28mm one? will the 28mm one be better then the Hybrid but not as harsh as the 30mm? Help Please Chris ________________________________________ Where did the road go!Chris |

scoobydoo, as nobody has ever answered the several requests for the spring rate of the Hybrid item, its difficult to be specific.Harshness will not come from the ARB though, Try some better dampers. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I've used a 29mm ARB and found it very good but the 30mm better on track. Bear in mind that I run 25.4mm TB's. I can get any size ARB made from 25.4 - 30mm same price but do not get TB's made, sorry. Could everyone please confirm that they are ready to pay and how and I'll pm you with Paypal or Bank details. As soon as I hear from everyone I'll get them made; they will be sent out approximately two weeks later. If you miss this batch there will only be another batch made when there are ten definite buyers again. |

I don't want any deposits or payments yet but please add "paypal" or "bank tfr" after your name and I will send you the details when I want paying. Price is £180 as previously mentioned, including delivery to UK Mainland only, by Paypal. I am happy to take £170 by Bank Transfer or £160 cash on collection from Chelmsford as long as you turn up when you say you will first time! I still have two 25.4mm 106 ARB's which I will sell for (each) only £120 Paypal, £110 Bank Transfer or £100 Cash on collection as per above. This will undoubtedly be the very last batch I ever get made hence why I am getting a spare 30mm bar made as some one will always want it even if not straight away. |
