Ahh right, looks like a nice setup, maybe I should wait for a better amp and some more money for other bits before I think too far into it!

Your car is looking stunning by the way, you've made a good car into a minter!Yes

LOL it's made by Sencor, a flagship amp in its hayday. They're not in production anymore, I've had it for 8 years now, my bro had it before me for another 3 years. Its a bit of a monster!

I fitted the rear speakers at the weekend, some nice Rainbow 6x9s in the shelf. Can't believe how good the stereo is.

My Pioneer headunit is the best I've ever seen/used, I plug my 16gb USB stick in the wire from the back and stream music, it automatically connects to my phone as I get in and allows full functionality through the head unit buttons. The sound settings are complicated but I've mastered it all now, so just trial and error to see what sounds best.

So a few pics from the outside after some cleaning action on Sunday. The outside of the car is 100% to my taste now, after spending pounds in the 4 figure mark. Really doesn't need lowering, handles spot on, looks spot on IMO. So I will have some Eibach 30mm lowering springs for sale, amongst some other stuff.

This thread is becomming an excuse to post pictures now LOL

So recently I've bought myself a decat which Carl Chambers fitted last weekend. I also had him spray and fit an inlet manifold and a few other bits. I needed an excuse to pop the bonnet at Pugfest 2009!

The Magnex decat came from ebay for

Lovely car mate!

Did you replace the stock wiring to the front speakers, or did you cut the wires inside the cabin and then splice in the wires to the amp? Just trying to steal ideas about how to wire mine up!

I cut the wire behind the headunit and extended it to the amp in the boot. Very easy!

Looks quality, mate. I still have my XSi, was my first car aged 19- I'm turning 26 in July! Like you, can't let go, especially considering the love and care it's received! Still on low 50's with milage (was a student for 4 years, couldn't afford to drive too much! Wink

I'd love a black 6, but having to go through the modifications as you have, to make me totally happy with it worries me. It is temping to buy something faster than a 6, and something German, which should be more reliable! (my XSi has had it's problems, as have been documented here)

Anyway, thumbs up on what you've got now. I'm jealous!
