Bit of a thread revival, only minor things done but might be interesting none the less.I've put a thread up in general about my paint correction found here and I'm thinking I should have put it in this thread, but never mind. Remember this is at standard ride height and with 55 profile tyres..... ________________________________________ Black 306 GTi-6 175.8BHP SCA Norwich ProjectTopaz Blue 205 CTI |

look at the concentration on your face trying hard!?Dont know who the dodgy passenger is in the first one! Heres mine for you; Just one thing, and I know you hate it when people pick holes (same as me!) but get rid of them blue bulbs, they make it look like an under cover police car. You car see them when you were following me aswell! ________________________________________ Carl Chambersemail; pugnacious.peugeot@yahoo.co.uk . I agree actually Carl, thats why the picture Jane took isn't my favourite unfortulately.Trouble is, with the xenon kit in low beam, what bulbs do I put in high beam to make them match colour at night?? Don't think there is a bulb that can do it, so I'll swap the main bulbs for normal ones, then think about ditching the xenons altogether. ________________________________________ Black 306 GTi-6 175.8BHP SCA Norwich ProjectTopaz Blue 205 CTI |

Do they really need to match at night, during the day is more important, they dont match on my Clio either as you know but that doesnt really bother me. I have found some by PIAA that would match but not paying ________________________________________ Carl Chambersemail; pugnacious.peugeot@yahoo.co.uk . The 205 now has a full years MOT so good to go for summer. Not before it sprang a leak though........ Was ok, thought it was the head gasket as had literally all the symptoms but turned out to be a 23 year old rad hose leaking on the manifold (white smoke) and into the distributor cap making it run like a bag of nails!I'm yet to pick it up from Mr Chambers but I cannot wait! ________________________________________ Black 306 GTi-6 175.8BHP SCA Norwich ProjectTopaz Blue 205 CTI |

The 306 has developed a fault now though. It runs totally as normal, drive it to warm up all fine. Park up all ok. Come back when its still warm, start up, drive of and it is normal until its like the engine cutting out completely for a second then back to normal, then does it again, then goes away. Feels like the engine is going to fly through the bonnet!Swapped the lambda sensor with no joy. Don't know what else to do other than swap other sensors! Will have to see, lost all love for it again!! ________________________________________ Black 306 GTi-6 175.8BHP SCA Norwich ProjectTopaz Blue 205 CTI |
