Cut them out with a drimmell and then sanded the edges down.

Hi Carl

Quick question - I assume you fitted the windscreens yourself? I've always had this done for me as it's been under insurance but it's never really looked that hard. What's the process? Or did you just call autoglass Wink

Cheers
O.

from memory you put a length of string in the rubber surround and gently pulled it out whilst pushing the window in place on the body.

my brother fits windscreens and i wouldnt attempt it without atleast a decent set of tools for window fitting. you need the right primer, the right sharp tools for removal (unless you are making a mess by smashing it). took my brother about 20 mins to bond my rear polycarb window in

Fully comp insurance and a nasty stone chip it is then. I mean, erm...

they'll end up coming out and filling it in LOL

it's nto unusual for windows to just smash on the motorway, so they shouldn't really ask anyway..

No worries but as all have said the glass is bonded in, I did take them out myself, the front screen came out easy but the rear was b*tch!

I had them fitted on my insurance by a proper windscreen place.Smile

No not bringing this as its still to far off being built, Im not lucky like you and dont have someone working for me, so cant give them all my jobs in the week so I can finish my own carSad

The low miles Rallye needs properly cleaning and cambelt etc, which I just havent had time to do.

Jane is bringing her Astor 6 and Im bringing my new toy, this 205 Griffe

You taking the superchargered Rallye or the 205 GTi-6? What stand you going on? Got loads of PSOOC passes if you want one.

More than likely be taking the rallye mate, the 205 is in the garage at home and doesnt have an mot at the minute and there is a few little bits i need to sort first.

If you could let me have a pass that would be great, be nice to get it in again like last year.

Will buy you lunch and a can of pop.

Cheers, Carl

whilst i kinda like it, i dont think having it in the btcc colours and then having so many standard bits on it like abs, pas etc and a show cage do it any favours

looks good though.. just.. i don't get it?!

It's a show car really, has next to nothing in common with the BTCC cars really bar similar colours, not to my taste but hey, we can't all drive jacked-up heaps with shedlike-bodywork LOL
