the paint isCool looks spot on, cage isint to bad better than most cheap show cages, ive got a cage that was in my escort, it fits in the 306 quite well, so im gonna use it as a template for making my own cage.

Its not a cheap show cage that everyone thinks it is, it is 2mm thick metal and was specially made for a 205, just been modified to fit a 306.

this car is not going to be a track car, so will never go on track! I already have a track car with a full cage in. Its going to be a fast road car.

The seat will not be proper btcc seat either as I dont want the car to be a pain to get in and out of, which is why I dont want a full cage. If I did then I would have bought the spare btcc shell that keeps coming up on pistonheads!

Its not an officail Peugeot colour so no dealers will know anything about it! Its was mixed specially for the BTCC cars! It took me months to find it, even ex Peugeot Sport uk boss Mick Linford didnt know the mix, and he had it made hence the name.

So its my secret now!Big grin

You're right, it's an expensive show cage Whistle

Yesterday was spent carefully putting the panels back on, and getting it all to line up again!

Todays job is to get the wiring back in.

little bit more done today;

cut the Rallye fog light blanks out to match the grille and to let more air to the brakes;

before;

after;

front and rear screens now in,

phase 3 rear screen;

front screen;

now you will notice its got a rain sensor type screen but being a Rallye it doesnt have a rain sensor, well the reason is I wanted to have the heat reflective U/V front screen and they only come as a rain sensor type screen. I will just use a rain sensor type rear view mirror and the windscreen banner will cover it all up anyway!

Inlet manifold is back on and started fitting and tidying the wiring;
