I saw this at the weekend, didn't realise you'd been this busy! I took one look at it and really thought "oh dear" but Carl showed me what was lurking under the bonnet, that coupled with the work you've done underneath and the fact Carl says it is seriously fast, I am thoroughly impressed I withdraw my comments made to Carl at the time ________________________________________ Black 306 GTi-6 175.8BHP SCA Norwich ProjectTopaz Blue 205 CTI |

Wow - no offence but I think this is genuinely the first car I've ever heard of that looks better from underneath than it does from on top. *insert 'beauty is under the skin' 'don't judge a book by its cover' type reference here* ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Very good I don't know why but im getting great satisfaction seeing such a good engine transferred into something more worthy Once you have finished some sort of costing/timescale breakdown would be good Really should refurb/underseal the Rallye at some point but guess you need somewhere dry and plenty of time ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

Undersealing is well easy, but messy, as long as you leave it dry for a day or two then your fine, its stripping and cleaning that takes the time. ________________________________________ www.pugsport-racing.co.uk |

Looks like a great project- and although I always loved the 'pink' 306 (although not the colour) this loks like a fantastic performance package- will be nice to have owned an awesome aesthetic 306 as well as a track slag Good luck! ________________________________________ "Rules are for the interpretation of wisemen and the obedience of fools" (Colin Chapman, Lotus founder) |

Just got my roll cage ordered from custom cages (www.customcages.co.uk) so as soon as that turns up it will be welded into the car and then I can get the interior painted and finished off.________________________________________ www.pugsport-racing.co.uk |

New Manual wing mirrors purchased today, roll cage is being fitted within the next 2 weeks, so I will get some pics uploaded as soon as possible.I will then be working on the interior painting the interior, painting the roll cage and general finishing off. It will then be off to the bodyshop to get all damage repaired and painted. ________________________________________ www.pugsport-racing.co.uk |

Carl Chambers is currently fitting my Roll Cage which I have purchased from custom cages, It looks like my Dashboard will have to be cut to allow it to fit properly. No doubt Carl will do a excellent job.________________________________________ www.pugsport-racing.co.uk |

roberts_306 wrote: Here is a pic of my Roll Cage just before Carl installs it in my 306 So where's the 'Custom' element of this then? All the cages I've seen have been properly welded together and painted etc., that just looks like a pile of central heating pipe...what am I missing? ________________________________________ Steve |

phillipm wrote: 10 minutes with the tube rollers and I could sell those Yeah as long as you can get a proper tube roller that bends this thickness tube and you know where to bend it! ________________________________________ www.pugsport-racing.co.uk |
