quote: any close up pics of the door cards and centre console, got me thinking haha!! I'll try and get some more pics later. I put the roof vent on to try and take the emphasis away from the big f*ckoff plate that's riveted over the sunroof hole but as it happens it's dead handy, having the plastic glass even with the sliders make a car dead claustrophobic and the vent gives a blast of air exactly where you want it. ________________________________________ Quote "da g man!" Mate, that's just lovely....really well finished (especially for that outlay!) and should be proper rapid! You may remember we met at the 'ring last year at Easter (we were in the same queue on the track during a closure) , is this the same car you had then which was on Wellers? And when were you thinking of going back? Myself and a few others are there at the end of May. ________________________________________ Steve |

quote: Supposed to spec the springs to keep the geometry in check based on the available tyre grip and ride height, doesn't matter about that back wheel being off the floor, the weight is still over the other side either way. Looking at that though - I wanna track slag I've been thinking about buying a coach and stripping that Track coach! It depends how much the wheels off the ground, the weight transfer was that bad it was three wheeling up to about five inches, everything was pivoting around the front end which wasn't good. It was most unsettling on very fast direction changes, I had to use the slightest input or it felt like you were running the back tyres low on pressure,I reckon the new springs will cure that. Mark-vts I was shocked at the insurance,I insured it from scratch with Adrian Flux (as its my third policy) and with limited mileage and everything declared it was ________________________________________ Quote "da g man!" That is extremely impressive, especially given the modest amount you've spent on it! What tyres do you normally use? Are all the side and rear windows perspex? And also have you tried ferodo DS3000's as a comparison to the 1155's? Chuffin' good lap time too, you must have both good skill and track knowledge. |
