Well the following pics are not exciting but it’s been a long testing few weekends working out and trying different combos ....

I’ve solid mounted the engine / gearbox and dropped both by 25mm and forward 10mm only to stop the driveshaft on compression hitting the chassis legs ...because the diff housing on the Sequencial box is much higher....

It’s not been enjoyable...first time I think I’ve said that LOL

You get a Sequencial Gearbox plate supplied but as I’ve said I’ve dropped the engine / gearbox by 25mm so I had to make a longer one out of 4mm steel plate ...thank god for the plasma cutter and pillar drill is all I can say

This was the biggest challenge....
Making a 4mm box section strong enough to take the solid engine / gearbox weight and stresses ...
Used 2mm tube / pipes welded in top to bottom and front to back to stop crushing the chassis legs

Well at last I’m finally getting somewhere l...

Sub frame back in after dropping the engine 25mm down and 10mm forward ..didn’t really want to bring it forward but you have to ....otherwise without major mod on Subframe the diff case will sit on it .....
I’m over the moon that I now don’t have to cut the chassis leg about either side ...you would do that because the driveshaft hits it when compressed ...
Ok it’s been a lot of work ...more than I was expecting and a lot of back and forth taking the Subframe on and off god knows how many times ...Crazy

When you see it come together you strangely forget the blood sweat and upset on the way ..Whistle

This weekend has been a great weekend and today bought a big smile to my-face

Finally started the car and no leaks or issues and even the pedal box throttle felt great ...still plenty to do but haven’t started the car for 6months and it needed a heat cycle after putting new engine oil / water in ...

Today I’m a happy chap and getting somewhere Thumbs up

The solid engine mounts didn’t feel any noisier ...but let’s drive it and find out LOL

Got to get 100% driveshaft length Whistle

Borrowed these off Satchel Enginnering / Tony Pafrey / Maxi Motorsport Thumbs up

These three pieces of tube that fit / SLIDE inside each other depending on what length side your doing makes life so much easier....they just push into each bearing and you mark the adjusted length with a sharpie....bingo how easy ?

You need to do it each side at full Car off the floor droop and level ...so I use some 12inch boxes I have Thumbs up
