Small but expensive update ...sold most of my old BMX / skateboard parts now and bought a new plasma cutter to go with my Mig /Tig welder It severs upto 24mm and cuts clean upto 18mm steel ...it’s 1million times better than my old Snapon one from 31years ago Bring on the top and bottom solid engine mounts |

Great to see your still going full bore on the car Damien. Been a while since I was on the forum, but it's nice being back and catching up on the build thread. Top work mate. Have to agree as well the R-tech stuff is nice stuff. Some people slate it because of Chinese parts. But I used R-tech tig welder at my old work fabricating exhaust systems and other bits and pieces. Would love to see the car in person at some point when it's ready. Only down the road so might see you about in my xsi 306 haha. |

It's a constant battle of whether to spend money upgrading the car or spend money on trackdays, i've not done as many trackdays as i'd have liked the last couple of years so this year i'm making more effort to get out and use the car.Got some fairly big long term plans in the pipeline though ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Got some fairly big long term plans in the pipeline though Yes agree ....now I’ve got my garage at the back of my house finished...I’m set on doing everything now for next year ....I’ve got so much to do from full electrics rewire throughout to every thing to fitting a DTA dash I have .....to upgrade my cage to turrets and put more support bars inside the car and get a pattern taken off my mocked up temp front bumper that weighs 17kgs as it has metal bonded into it and get it made in Carbon / Kevlar Which should see it go down to 5kgs max ....I will also be putting more camber on the rear ..a new set of Bridge craft arms will be ordered the end of the year and these 70mm wider ones will be for sell |

Well here’s the small mod you have to do when fitting Maxi Motorsport/ Tony Palfrey’s Sequencial gearbox ...it’s because the Diff is much higher and the drive shaft catches the rear Water Housing |

This one is going to save loads of space ...not much lighter as I had a amazing Citroen all Alloy setup .....which will now be for sell shortly.....very very rare for both pieces together and had them Nickel plated I’ve made the plate out of 4mm and used x6 bolts .....I’m going to use 4mm rectangular box section and cut it in two and weld together... I will weld x2 round tags on the box section to tension the Altenator off of a small adjustable pivot tie bar |

Top engine mount nearly finished ....used 4mm rectangular box section and over braced all edges with 4mm angled plate ...just need two more triangular bottom braces and get it shot blasted and then Nickel Plated ...Bonus ....It’s given me so much more room Just got to fit support 3mm x2 plates on lower and upper chassis leg and then 3mm tube to stop crushing as same as Gearbox mount side ... |
